In October, many fun Halloween events take place in the Saint Cloud Area. Check them out below!
Pumpkinfest
Calling all ghosts, ghouls and goblins to join us at Lake George and Eastman Park for the annual spooktacular celebration, Pumpkinfest, on Friday, October 19th from 4-7pm. The spinetingling event includes trick or treat stations, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, face painting, hayrides and so much more... Get lost in the hay maze, or bust a move at the screamin' dance party on the mainstage with the DJ Monster Bash Mash! Fun is lurking around every corner during this free, safe, familyfriendly event! Harvest of Horror Amid the dark, rolling hills of St. Augusta-terror has struck. Through the fields and the woods lie the creepiest, scariest, most heart-pounding horrors imaginable. Perhaps you'll want to go there, because maybe it's thrilling? Or maybe it's too horrifying. The Harvest of Horror is a hayride you will never forget. In the cornfields, through the woods, you'll encounter-well-who knows what might come your way.
The Harvest of Horror - October 6th through 28th every Friday and Saturday. The Harvest of Horror is open from 7-11pm rain or shine. The last ride leaves at 10:45pm. Come, if you have the guts.
Grace UMC Trunk or Treat
Take your kids trick or treating this Halloween in a safe community outreach. Kids trick-or-treat car to car in the parking lot and inside the church room to room as well. There will also be crafts and snacks inside, along with collection of non-perishable items for the food shelf. This event takes place on October 26th from 5-7 pm.
Stearns County Museum’s Halloween Historia
Hunt through the Museum's exhibits in the Halloween Scavenger Hunt, visit the petting zoo, have a snack and make a craft, take a hayride, trick or treat, stop in to see the candy witch, and have your favorite Halloween image painted on your face. This is a non-scary family event that costs 4 dollars per person. It takes place on Saturday, October 20th from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
We Scare Hunger
Each year on the night of Halloween, Tech’s NHS and We Act members participate in We Scare Hunger. Instead of trick-or-treating for candy, participants instead trick-ortreat for non-perishable foods. All of the food collected can be donated by bringing it to the school, where donation boxes will be set up. This food will then be distributed through Catholic Charities and used to feed families in the Saint Cloud area. Good non-perishable foods to collect included canned soup, vegetables and fruit (with pull top openings), granola bars, cereal, pasta, bags of rice, and others.
